Though very little details have been released, but I can only assume it will be quite the story when more details are released. Two Queens elected officials being involved in the same corruption scandal, meh, it's been done, but having two elected officials from different parties and different legislative bodies-- well now we are breaking some ground. Though I can't say I am not surprised by Former Majority Leader State Senator Malcolm Smith being involved, not sure what if any influence a Republican New York City Councilman could peddle.
Though the most interesting detail about Councilman Dan Halloran is that he is New York City's (and possibly the nation's) openly Wiccan practitioner. Guess prayers to mother Gaia didn't help the good Councilman.
